The Four Tiers

  • 0-2The Purist A small and shrinking minority. Most modern records use the tools you avoid. A real position the quiz respects.
  • 3-5The Casual (you have been told the story and believed it) The tools have touched some of your music or your listening. The story about AI in music is mostly about visibility, not presence.
  • 6-8The Suspect Your setup is already inside the category most modern records have been made under. Most working producers and most attentive listeners are in this group.
  • 9-10Congratulations, you're an AI band Welcome to the club. Most of your favorite records are already in it. The standard was never the tools. It was whether you could see them.
