Shieldbearer is a studio project, not a touring band. Vocals on most releases are AI; Moncy is the only musician on the project, on guitar. There is no full-band Shieldbearer live configuration. The only Shieldbearer-branded live option is Moncy playing guitar over the recorded tracks for a short feature slot or a one-song moment.
For a real live praise and worship set, the right ask is KGroup Band, Moncy's sister project. KGroup runs full-band worship with live vocals, drums, bass, and guitar. Different catalog, same conviction. When you write in, name the project the booking is for, and send the venue, expected audience size, date window, and budget. Booking replies usually go out within three business days.
Vocals on most Shieldbearer releases are AI because there is no other vocalist on the project. That is a constraint, not a preference. Songs featuring real vocalists are already in production and will release in the near future, so the AI-only era is winding down, not expanding. We are actively inviting more singers to collaborate. If you are a vocalist passionate about heavy music and Christ-centered lyrics, the door is open. Send a sample of your work and what you are drawn to. A human voice on a Shieldbearer track is something we want, not something we are avoiding.
Interviews, podcast appearances, written features, magazine profiles, and album reviews are all welcome. Shieldbearer is happy to talk about the music, the theology behind it, the production process, and the broader argument about AI in Christian art. If you have a deadline, say so up front. Press requests are prioritized over general enquiries and usually get a same-week response.
If a song reached you in a way you want to talk about, send the message. Testimonies, prayer requests, lyrics that hit at the right moment, the song you played at your dad's funeral, the line that pulled you out of a dark stretch. These get read carefully and answered honestly. Reply timing varies because every fan message gets a personal answer rather than a template, but nothing serious is ignored.

Most ministry use is permitted without a fee, but it helps to ask first so we can shape the partnership intentionally and so I can pray for the work you are doing.
